Hi Sylvia, thank for your comment. I agree that prayer is a great help. and breathing slowly and deeply (which i the opposite to fast, shallow breathing that occurs when we are stressed or anxious) calms you down. I usually do deep breathing before I get up to do a speech.

I have seen the Merry Widow (ballet) at least twice in the past and loved every minute of it especially the lavishness of the costumes. Nowadays, the production is much more streamlined. I could certainly ‘;brave’; the cold Melbourne weather to enjoy the performance. The Australian Ballet should be congratulated on producing such a colourful performance.
